18th Street Reconstruction
The 18th Street Reconstruction Project is currently in the preliminary design phase. Design elements being considered include ADA upgrades, streetscape design, underground utilities, and roadway modifications. At this time, there are no construction dates.
The project will run from Warren Avenue west to Bent Avenue and along Bent Avenue south to 15th Street.

The City of Cheyenne and project partners are currently seeking public feedback on two components of the 18th Street Reconstruction Project following the public meeting held on May 26, 2026.

18th Street Reconstruction Presentation Feedback
Community members are encouraged to review the 18th Street Reconstruction presentation and share comments, questions, or concerns related to the proposed concepts and project direction. Public comments will be accepted through June 9.

Streetscape Enhancement Feedback
Public feedback is also being gathered on proposed streetscape enhancement concepts associated with the 18th Street Reconstruction Project.

18th Street Reconstruction Public Meeting
The City of Cheyenne will host a public meeting open house to discuss the 18th Street Reconstruction Project and discuss preliminary design considerations. The event will consist of a short presentation at 5:30 p.m. MT and informational display boards, along with opportunities to visit with the project team and ask questions.
The public meeting open house will be held from 5-7 p.m. Mountain Time (MT) in the Cottonwood Room of the Laramie County Library.
